Thank you very much !
But...
In your screen we see that the canopy is of the "bubble" type.
But the P-51C has a different canopy.
For a very long time an error has been made with these planes. They do not have a suitable cockpit for them ... unless I missed an update!
The 3D view cockpit is not suited to the external view.

... yep, in fact the bubble canopy, or "Malcolm hood" was adopted by the RAF because they found the original hinged cockpit canopy offered too poor a view for European operations ...

http://www.aerofiles.com/malcolm-hood.html

This later gave birth to the D type, that, surprisingly didn't provide a better all round view ...

By the way, B and C types were the same plane, but produced by 2 different makers ...

B types were built at Inglewood, California, and C types were built at North American's Dallas, Texas.

The RAF named these models Mustang Mk III.

So, the American first versions had an hinged cockpit (see Epervier's screen), and the RAF (Mustang III) version soon was modified with the Malcolm bubble canopy ...  ;)

I never knew that complete story. Very interesting.

OK, I sign the Spitfire, but I have lot of work pending and there are waiting list, sry. :(

Jero.

Hi Jeronimo, are you still planning on giving the Spit cockpit a bit of tlc? It seems a shame to neglect this iconic fighter don't you think?
If I had your knowledge I'd give it a go myself, but I wouldn't know where to start! Any thoughts/tips?

Thanks, Gatto :-)

Does anyone knows whether these cockpit fixes can be downloaded with one pack? Or do I have download them one by one? Thanks
