Trees in Water
« on: October 09, 2014, 10:00:15 AM »

Hey friends,

if some of you can help me, I will be very grateful.

Suddenly I have recognized, that trees standing in the water and I cannot get rid of them. A few years ago I read something on a topic with the same problem, but I don't find it anymore.

Does anybody know, what is my mistake?

Best regards

I'm not an expert but I'd use a texture for the coastline which doesnt have a tree file.

Some times I would get this as well.
I to would use a coastline texture and go around manually removing trees in the fmb+.
It is tedious but worth it especially when you do have a lot of trees near the coast but in the ocean.

Just another texturing detailing job  ;D to do.

Also try adding "  _fields " without the quotation marks, only _fields  to the end of the name of whatever texture you use for the coast.

Like this... Spain_1024_Bekaa_16_fields.tga
