Mosquito Cookies
« on: October 10, 2014, 04:40:47 PM »

The MK XVI Mosquito was universally built to carry the 4,000lb "Cookie" bomb and it is beautifully depicted in IL2 . Some MK IVs were converted to carry this weapon. The MK IV was better suited to low level operations, which would lend itself to some challenging missions (A Bismark class battleship will succumb to a well aimed cookie for instance). Would it be possible to modify a MK IV to carry a cookie in the game? I have no schematics but the necessary schematics are already there, a MK IV with the "Pot Belly" is all it needs!

It would also be excellent to have Pathfinder loads of marker flares as an option in the B MkIV  as well.

The MK IV would require 3D work to fit the 4,000lb H.C in, i tried loading into the MK IV for my Bomber Command mod, but it sticks through the bomb bays by quite a bit.

You get exactly that in my mod, here

there are new bomb loads, Target Indicators, Skyflares and also Target Indicators that instruct following AI bombers to bomb on their position of release so you can act as a 'real' Pathfinder.
