There are some interesting clips in that video. That L2D catching fire after being hit was eerie!
Anybody have any idea what those ships/boats were doing at roughly 3:30? They seemed to be following each other in circles, and around stationary escort carriers at times. Some kind of ASW practice maneuvers??

I believe those could be landing craft staging up prior to heading to the beaches.
