The updated ag_Lapland map is now available.
The changes that have been done:
Airfields
- Vuotso airfield added according to FAF documents
- Billefjord airfield relocated and reconstructed to be a float plane airbase like it historically has been
- a nameless airfield removed from the middle of nowhere in Swedish Lapland
- Ivalo airfield reconstructed according to FAF documents
- Alta float plane airbase reconstructed
- all other airfields fine tuned and AI taxiing behaviour tested
All the airfields that map includes have existed and have been used by the Germans 1941-44 except Karasjok airfield which was left there just for fun.
Autumn and winter airfields wear partially new textures tuned from the original one.
The roads on Finnish territory are reconstructed to match better the situation in 1944. (I’d be delighted if somebody could tell if there is any kind of information available concerning the roads in Northern Norway during the war)
Added new place names according to a map printed in 1944.
Objects: note that there are summer textured objects on the winter map because of lack of similar winter ones.
The updated map file structure can be downloaded here:

Note: If you don’t have the original ag_Lapland you’d first download the _Tex folder here (it is a big one and may take some time to DL):
