i seriously cannot wait for skinning, FMB and online hosting.
those were great assets in the past when the servers were full and i needed a creative outlet.

started y LaGG template today based on an old image i found. Hope it's gonna work.

community really is something different than the pro active progressive place that the SAS represents.
Tons of gamer attitude on the user side, and the devs lack experience on how to handle the situation.

And i would like to accuse the users of playing Dumb, just in order to dump shit, and the devs for not being thick-skinned enough.
They are playing in the Big league now, and are not equipped to handle it.

Me personally? I think the Users need to Cut the Crap and need to understand that BoS is just as much a neverending WIP story as IL-2 was for the last 15 years.
to understand that, to accept that, or to just get the fuck out of the community. Cut the Crap and let the devs focus on the Job at hand. They have proved they are able to get stuff done fast.

It's time to move on from the "release trouble", and we need to do that ASAP.

But I can't move on from the release trouble.  BoS ran smoothly with a few tweaks I did in Custom Graphics.  Then they eliminated Custom Graphics about a month ago and even on lowest graphics pre-sets it is a stuttering mess now.  I'm talking slide show in the 5 fps range near the ground.

The devs are just doing stuff to destroy the game for no reason!  Why won't they let me tweak my graphics so I can play it?

have you turned motion blur off, anti aliasing off, have you played around a bit?

Yeah, Typhoon, I've tried everything.  I've got motion blurr/cinematics off, AA off, low graphics, low sound, FPS limiter at 30 and I'm getting about 2 to 4 fps on the ground, and about 15 to 20 fps at alititude.

There have been some threads on this on the BoS forum and some of the guys who know more than me about graphics are saying on many cards BoS is only using 30 to 50% of the GPU.  So something has changed for the worse, or I was bypassing it by turning a couple of things off in Custom Graphics when I had the option to do so.  There are quite a few threads on this on the BoS forum, but they go unanswered by the devs.

Sounds a bit like you are running on the onboard CPU graphics rather than the 7850

No, my GPU is being used by BoS, but underutilized by what I was told.  Some of the guys had me use MS Afterburner and something else and post screen prints to test my GPU/CPU loads.  Then some other guys figured out BoS is somehow not fully using the GPU on a number of cards.  All over my head, to be honest.  All I know is when I could no longer use Custom Graphics it instantly brought my system to its knees on that update.  So I guess I had something turned off in Custom Graphics that is now hitting my card.  I don't remember my Custom Graphics settings anymore as once I got things tweaked about 8 months ago I left things alone because it was running so well.  I had the graphics pretty much maxed out, but I did have one or two things turned off completely.  So I took a huge hit when this happened.

Appearently the Russkis get a 12 dollar version. two of the 8 standard planes, and they can grind/unlock every single one.
only the La5 and the 190 will not be available and mmust be bought separately.... possibly for a few pence.

So if you have a russian contact, go through that person to get your licence. better  12 than 60...
