Jason's position for RoF was quite opened and existing mods highly change the game "feeling", so I don't think Jason will be against modding.
The only problem is that he only wants to support productive modders.

"productive modding" what does that mean?

is it that the Modder team does the work and he can sell it as a product (pro-duct ive modding gives products that can be sold)
that has me a bit confused...

By "productive", I meant : people who are making models to their end, as opposed to people who are asking, asking and nothing comes out

 Very much a misunderstanding, mods in Rof are very much encouraged, check out the mod section of Rise of flight forums, the game even has a mod activator built in from the start, the same is expected with BoS, prob after the next range of features ( skins, FMB,  Dserver) are released

and if a mod is popular... incorporate it in some patch after an agreement has been reached with the modder.
So it can be used on these weird "ranked" servers the devteam has been tlking about.
People have submitted stuff to the IL-2 teams for a decade now. Makes sense (to me...) to keep that door open.

and when jumping on the opportunity that presents itself with a newcomer who does nothing but drop Bombs  on the Simulator, right from the first post on... and you engage in a conversation and Shut the guy up after a dozen posts, make him understand that his actions make no sense because they will not carry any results... and he is actually complaining to the great wall of china..

you get two PMs by a Mod,

- the first one because you engage in this difficult and rather serious conversation and you are doing the moderator's Job (what?!) but take a different approach that they can not approve ( uh... say again?) and therefor you need to... stop.
- second one because you drop the word "Bullshit". Whoops. hate me for that. Calling things by their name... not a good thing to do!

Getting tired of that place fast - when you take a moderate position + argue towards the haters to stop hating + acknowledge the points they make, the Mods threaten to take action on your ass, and tell you to back off or else.

Lesson of the day:
In Russia, the game plays you.
That place... is a propaganda place.
