Today I'm thankful that I considered Jason's community standing, took into account possible embargoes on the Russian economy, got a feel for 777's forum relations, and I listened to reason.

I stopped supporting 777 because they place a unreasonable burden on their customers, who are frequently locked out of, basically, the whole game when the servers go down. The DRM technique is Soviet and I can't believe I bought into it for as long as I did.

777 deserves every bit of criticism they get, and if we all leave and kill their business, they are just getting the treatment they deserve. This is how the free-market works itself out: you act like a gang of asshats and people drop your punk asses. No BoS for me!!! Happily!!!

No, the FM are bad, and I have the ultimate prooves:
When I fly an Albatros vs Camel, I am always shot down : The Albatros cannot win
When I fly the Camel vs an albatros, I am always shot down : The Camel cannot win

Personally I fly ROF and BOS and DCS and COD and I give a damn in game politics business and any conspiracy with a financial or political motif . Without 777 and DCS you sit with no sim at all.

I find flying fighters mostly a waste of time, I fly bombers only and I only fly if there are a real objective. In coop missions I fly whatever the mission demands.
So basicly I am not that depended on accurate FM. I get shot down if I meet a fighter

my criticism so far is not yet at BoS, rather the devil-inspired Steam.
got the game last Friday, registered a new account on Saturday, got sent a verification email, which i am unable to complete as it does not accept my email addy as valid (this being the very same email addy they sent the verification to....
on one screen i am given the message 'Your account has been activated and is waiting in some or other moderator queue' or words to that effect. unchanged since Saturday.
the install doesn't accept my steam info and quitting is my only option.
so the ranting actually begins before i can even install the game.
Other than that, I'm sure BoS is really great, just like i'm sure the weather on Alpha Centauri is also great this time of year
i've got a good mind to dump it all completely, and  move on to something more rewarding, maybe Pac-man ....

Well, I would advise you to use the original site version, it brings no trouble what so ever. I regret I gave the one I had to another person.
