And that is exactly what they do - they TRY to improve the FMB.
They screwed up so many times, that their opportunities to TRY and do something are over.
I do not want attempts. I want results.
I do not want  estimations and ETA's. I want downloads and instructions on how to use.

And besides...
all i have red is that they are removing the RoF related stuff, and that improvements of the UI are to be done later... when resources are available.
Which, i figure... will be... Yea.

I am done cutting them some slack, that's basically what i am saying.

How much work have they prepared for BoM.
i mean the LaGG has been used, The Heinkel is an old one from aeons ago... from "another world" so to speak...
I bet they got half a Hangar full of the good stuff, but make no move to use it.

We were told that in december they would inform us on how 2015 would look for BoS.
january: nada. NADA.
february:
-we are working on a summer map
-and will bring you the FMB and hosting possibilityasap.
- we will put in the AI ju52
- and find a way to sell you the MC202.
- and we will bring you the winter map on which an independent modder has worked for a year now.
- and since we can not leave that situation as is, [modding! haxx!] we will incorporate that man into our team so that he is not an independent modder any more, and we can bind him to contracts n stuff.

They went behind their words on the roadmap thing, which btw means they STILL don't have a clue on how the story goes on. (!)

There is a lot to like and (maybe) a lot to come. I don't really care about the money. I've wasted lots of money on sims that spent only minutes on my computer. But I feel like I paid double-price for half a game, and I'm supposed to "suck it up" and be happy? I'm supposed to wait a year for OTHERS to finish their sim? The Devs seem to have developed a real knack for annoying / pissing off the very people that could make their sim a success.

The programmer who was responsible for the FMB was diagnosed with a serious illness (dark side) and another has been recruited to step in to help and continue, this has been said to be the reason for some of the delays for releasing the ME/FMB.
Summer and Autumn maps coming for free, new He-111 missions by Veteren66, Full Velikie Luki Map with campaigns for both sides coming as well...it is not all bad (sorry I know this is dark side thread

...and down goes BoS, rats desert the sinking ship.
Yet another sad chapter of the WWII flight sim saga will be closed soon due to the incredible arrogance and ignorance of the writers.

Looks like there's an old curse on everything related to serious development of the IL-2 sequel.

The good news is: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 will stay as the best WWII flightsim ever, for years to come!

he full well knows that the mods are doing to 1946 what hardly a devteam can.

so the reason is a BS reason. He is Full of it.
If he were at least f*** honest and say "we want to keep control, and want to make a steady stream of revenue, instead of letting modders take over"

But no... the insult is, he thinks we are too dumb to know, and treats us as such.

Not much to add.
Good to know that we can speak freely here and to those who have ever been wondering of @SAS there would be something like "censorship", take that thread as a comparative example.

Robtek has flagged his hate of BOS since it went alpha, he might be right but he is one of many in cod gang wanting to destroy bos .
Why they just not able to ignore a game they do not like , as any normal community would. Not flightsimmers , they want total destruction when it does not rock their boat.
One of the reasons I stopped go on atag site. Their attitude has not been seen since the worst Period on banana forum
