where do we need to put the textures to get them to load??

I assumed to place them in the Tex folder, but all the other files in there are .tga

I altered the texture folder, that comes with the download (new link to download!)!!

After unzipping, you can paste my _Tex-folder into your main _Tex folder.
Existing texture will be overwritten, new texture will be saved at the right path.

no wonder you have problems.
seems there went something wrong with the texs folder
as all the files within are jpg and tif files and Il2 does not work
with such tex files. 

anyway, many thanks for the map I/JG27_Seppel! 

Have the first version working so far in 4.12 MA5.30,
but looking forward to v2 to have all texs.

Hui, Seppel,
simply open your load.ini file in Notepad,
and create the folder structure according to paths there shown,
with tga format texture files, precisely as it is wtitten in load.ini.
No other experiments, please !
