... did you read the readme ...?

"Because they are all stock, they will work in any version, IF and big IF !!
You place or replace the bottom copy to your current Technics.ini
or they will come out blank or shitty looking. BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL."

... 70% crash most of the time means ini files problems ...

So I have to manually add the entries? The automated process (using the Mods folder) won't work? Or does the Mods folder just replace the original .ini files with the modded .ini files without merging them?

The techics.ini which you've installed is not compatible with your game version -> 70% crash.
What modpack/activator are you using?

Modpack, I think, is HSFX 7.0.3 and activator... hm... the JGSME? But I just drop the files/folders in the Mod folder without using JGSME.

EDIT: JGSME does have a few mods enabled though. Could some mod interfere with the stock tanks/cars .ini and give that crash?

EDIT2: Inside (A) Stock Tanks and (B) Stock Vehicle folders there are 3 versions: DBW - which I guess is the mod Dark Blue World... which I don't have; SAS - which is different from HSFX, so I also don't have that; Basic mod - I guess this applies for me?

Then someone needs to extract the HSFX7 technics.ini and make the required changes.
I'm using a SAS modact for 4.12 with many of these vehicles already installed from previous packs so my only option was to add the new stuff manually, took me two days. :)

I followed exactly the same procedure as vpmedia (manual selection and installation) with my SAS ModAct 530 (412.2m) setup and all is fine; Wingflyr, I report the same issue as Istvan, concerning the Opel Blitz truck. Great job mate!!!!

Wingflyr, your work is amazing!!  These models are fantastic.  But I have one quick question.  When I go into the object viewer from the main menu, I noticed the 4 British tanks at the bottom of the list, the two Churchill, Cromwell, and Challenger.  For some strange reason, they show up having 3D models, when I know I don't have them anywhere in my mod folder, as well as in either of the TANKS, or VEHICLE folders.  There are no technics entries for them either, so I'm a little confused as to where they are and how I have them.  Anyone else getting this, "Bug"?

Thanks M8. I try so hard to make sure everything work before I release but its so many models its easy to overlook things thats is exactly why it take forever to get these out to you guys. Those are out there and can be downloaded I am putting a C brand new package including these
tanks new vehicles and goodies. As for the Opel flatbed I will put out a fix soon I already fixed the problem. I also PM Monty and he has already added these two packs into his wonderful TFM version. And Scotty Rotten if you placet the entries into the technics.ini and place the cars tanks ahd SPG foders into whatever version you have, your go to go. And Istvan im working on fixing the Opel rocket truck I may know what is going on there.

Blimey I've just downloaded this lot - I'm good at adding stuff to ini's etc but this looks darn complicated! Think I'll leave it alone and hope these are included in a new version of DBW at some time in the future!

Not a criticism Wingflyr just a bit too daunting for me as I have the same issue as VP with lots of this stuff already installed - it looks awesome and must have been hell of a job to do mate.

Thanks Wingflyr for fixing the Opel Blitz 36s truck! :)

I was able to fix the Maultier Rocket truck fps problem by adjusting those three parameters in the mat files.

Yeah its a little complex I know, its the only way to get it to work due to the fact there are multiple versions out there. The only way it would work with a simple drop it in and go would be into a vanilla or clean mod version which would copy the new technic.ini over the old,but we all know that would not be the case otherwise.
yes it was a hell of a job chipping away abit everyday while still dealing with real life things, thats why it took forever. The new vehicle and goodies are all done with new classfile help from western which he supplied a while ago.

Oh and the other thing is that Monty will place all these into his TFM version which means just load and play.    Cherrs wing
