Wouldn't the cockpit of the Gloster Meteor be more appropriate for the Vampire ?

Meteor pit is a 2 engines pit, which the original author found inappropriate. Additionally, extra java work would have been required to fit a 2 engines pit to a single engine aircraft.  :)

Jim_diGris Hi! what is shown on the photo you uploaded is the RAF standard practice bomb pack of the 50s/60s - the same appears also on Firefly photos of the period.

Thanks for the nose wheel fix !

Now it would be nice to fix also the wheels of the main gear , please . They are obviously too thin . It seems also that the plane is too high over the ground .

Birdman's fix patch
« Reply #81 on: February 05, 2015, 01:22:03 PM »

Thank You a lot for adding this important early jet to IL-2!

I noticed some unrealistic behaviour in crash landings, so I fixed _Clip hook positions so that you can enjoy more realistic crashes.  ;)
I also fixed plane center position to get more realistic movement around roll axis.

You can download my fixes at http://koti.mbnet.fi/raukorpi/Vampire_fix.7z. Just unpack to the mod folder of this plane so that these files overwrite original files.

I've also included Epervier's nose gear animation fix so that you wouldn't forget to install it. Those two classfiles are Epervier's versions and not connected to my 3D fixes at all.

I hope you like these fixes!
Please report any bugs still left so that I can try to fix them.
