Handbook for map editor

Hi everyone!

Due to the long work on my Baltic Sea map (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,72324.0.html)
I learned a lot about map making.
Althoug I'm far away from being an expert, I wrote a little handbook for map builders and like to offer it as an PDF here.
Maybe the one or another will find it useful. Let me know!

The new handbook had been reworked and is out now:

very nice manual, worth of reading , congratulations !
Perhaps I can recommend it to our russian friends who prefer German to English ?

Just a question: on page 59 and later on, are you dealing with Zuti's Actors Management Tool or other program ? Which ? And where it can be d/l ?

I've just tried to download this from Mediafire, using both Edge and Chrome. Both of them report a virus detection, with the download prevented as a result. Any suggestions?

Edit: Specifically, Windows Defender says it detected this: Trojan:Script/Sabsik.FL.A!ml, and classifies it as a severe threat.

Attention !!!
Mapsize in Zutis Management tool should be calculated according to manual (cited):

"# Size of the map "y direction" in meters is 1280 x 200=256000 which would
then be 25600.0 metres"

that is the y size must be multiplied by 20 (twenty) -
It was checked several times in my experience.
