I'm a sceptical grump as for modern planes in IL-2, but this one really is a good flying and beautiful model. :)

But the VTOL was already solved  ???. We even have 5 different modes for you to choose:  0, 25, 45, 60, and 90 degree. which 0 is horrizontal and 90 is vertical, the rest is in between that fit specific purposes in taking off and landing, while also help making transition between 90 and 0 more natural and smooth.

I don't know about that, haven't played IL2 for a long time....but when I was messing with the Harrier, I had manual controls for direction of thrust, so you could literally fly it as a helicopter (in all directions) when thrust was at 90° down...but it was veeeery difficult to land (not impossible though) and stability was sometimes a little problematic.

The aircraft is about 80% completed with several fine tuning to do as well as these 2 things:

1/fix damage model
2/finalize all the cockpit instrument and texture

then off it goes, hopefully will be able to get it ready for you guys soon. Stay tuned.

cheers,
