Steven, if I may derail the thread for a minute, could you let me in on how you are able to make the external camera panning so smooth? Is it because you use trackir? All of your videos have such a cinematic feel to them because of that.

It's one of the features of visual mod 8/9, it's the "follow camera".



Also, Ranwers has done an absolutely fantastic job on that cockpit!    :P

Missiles in that distance, at least AIM-120s, have a very high hit ratio, that is also what I forgot via PM.

No need to fire 3-4 missiles for one close range target. :P

Same for modern AIm-9s.

Another thing is with AIM-7s, they require a constant lock and are semi active.

I see things have progressed a lot since I stopped playing some two years ago now is it or more? Well done S3 and the rest of the crew who have been working on this ;)
