Man, this mod takes me back.. I remember when it took me 3days+ to install Up2.01 on V4.09m, this was my first (By itself) mod ever. Now I have HSFX5.0 on V4.10.1m and im getting my favorite airplane mod again. ;D

Hi,

can anyone confirm whether they have been able to fly the lancaster using HSFX v5.0.1 (and SEOW)? I've followed the install instructions but I crash to desktop at 60%.

I've got the Lancaster added to the MODS folder and made the additions to the air.ini, plane_ru and weapons_ru. I've also downloaded and added the latest SAS buttons file. Even when I run the game in v4.10.1 vanilla the lancaster does not appear in the list of flyable aircraft in the QMB.

Any help would be appreciated - really keen to use this mod!

Finally got it working with the help of SAS~Cirx's Modact!!

From what I read on these boards - Ranwers is finishing the B26 ,then going back to the Do 17 & Ju188 (but stand under correction - dont want to talk on his behalf  ;) )
Ranwers is like "a box of chocolates - you never know what you going to get" - but guaranteed its always awesome - so who knows...and we love surprises from him anyway!  8)

Think this is a frankenplane – so very difficult to create a template & skin (stand under correction again)

Thanks for this great beauty!

I have only come across it recently in UP3.0 and I have a question if that is OK?

Is there anything further I need to do, to get the 6xT.I flares to work?  I can drop them OK and see them leaving the plane, but I see no results.

Any advice on this is appreciated.

Skin for Lanc. going to try mucking about and changing one of the TGA's to BMP and see how it looks and acts. will keep you posted Feuerhund m8.it may be a temp work around until a good person can do it right lol.

When the Tallboy is dropped it"s like a small A-Bomb blast. This has to be one of the best RAF bombers ever. I want to add my thanks to everyone who had a hand in it. It's great to fly. Does any one know if the GrandSlam bomb will be made? Thanks again for this one guys.
