Well the reason I ask is because I found an 3/4 done B-2 in my MODS folder.  :D I might polish it up and release it some time.

People,
in general the Lancaster is a good implemented plane, the cockpit is quite sophisticated, it flies nice, etc. But the flaps are not properly articulated at the rear side of the wings, and when they finally get totally extended, they end at 2 feet (more than 0.5m) away of the wing itself. This is clearly visible when you land the plane.

It is a pitty. I don't know how was the plane in reality but just articulating the objects of the flaps in a closer point will make them look much more real. You don't see any hinge or piece of attachment in the design of the flaps, so to not complicate the mode, just adjusting the point of twist will solve it.

I hope that if you work in the B2 version could fix that so the same fix can be applied to the current version of the plane.

  Thank you,
                         Pablo

Pablo, the Lancaster is a big franken(Parts of many differen't aircraft) used together to make a Lancaster, with the exception of a few new 3d parts I think. So such bugs and errors are expected and hard to fix, another symptomn is parts dissapearing at certain angles and high gloss.
It is pretty good for what it is but I hope that one day we can have a real one.

I guess that's a no on the Grandslam huh? Oh well, I'll be happy with the Tallboy and the rest of it. Cooies are ok. Great plane any way.

YES PLEASE !!.
I also couldn't do a decent void for the Lanc. Sorry, tried mucking about with the MSH and TGA's but found it too hard and messy, looked crap so i left it as is and left it alone LOL. Sorry all.

+1 on the Yes Pleases.  ;)

Also, has anyone had any success using the T.I loadouts in the Lanc?  I see them drop, but I get no coloured flares.

Ranwers

I was wondering wether there are still plans to update the Lancaster, Wellington and Halifax at all mate? i have seen them mentioned a few times, but no news for a while?

Verhängnis

Is there any news on a B.II Lancaster at all?

just wondering, the RAF 'Heavies' are my most wished for planes.

cheers

Not sure if i'm reading your cryptic reply correct mate, but to me that sounds like good news (for us  ;)). Off myself for a week on Saturday, hopefully will come back to some good news.

p.s your B-26 has really raised the bar for 'frankenplanes' mate, it really is top work.

Many thanks,
regards
