Hi, I have 4.09m, buttons 4.11.1m installed and Diff_FM Mod. I'm also using the 3.1 version of the Lancaster, and the patch for lower resolution skins (since I do not have the High Resolution Mod). However I can't fly the Lancaster, when I select it and press "Fly" it crashes after 30%. A sign shows up saying: -The instruction in "0x5f12530e" makes reference to the memory in "0x0000051c". The memory cannot be read. Press Accept to end this program- Once I press accept the program closes.

Could anyone please help me find the problem? Thanks!

not enough memory. Find, dl and install Storebrors Selector.

Epervier, I downloaded Buttons 4.11.1 because it was the latest version and because I read a post by (I believe) SAS Cirx which said that the 4.11.1m version is compatible with 4.09m. Should I download the latest 4.09 related buttons instead? And will the Lancaster work with such buttons?

SAS-Gerarx, I've downloaded the Mod Selector and the RAM is currently in 512 MB. My computer has in total 2GB of RAM. How much should I increase it so the Lancaster could work?

stay with the 512MB. Read the Selectors manual to find more info about this.

I've downloaded the Storebrors Selector, but I'm not sure im using it properly. Do I need to extract it inside IL-2's folder? Or it works by just opening the Il-2Selector.exe? There's really no install instructions. http://sourceforge.net/projects/il2selector/

I've read the instruccions and there isn't much I can do, the selector is set to "Classic Mod Game" which is what I have and regarding the RAM if 512 is fine then... why does the Lancaster does not work?

I've also increased the RAM to 1014 MB and the game still crashes at 30% while "Loading Airplane".

Any ideas what could be the cause of this if not the RAM?

Hello I have CUP installed with which has the latest version of the Lancaster. I have discovered the Lancaster is invisible at a distance between 50 and (about) 100 metres. I have searched for this problem and found reference to it but no solution. Is this just me or an on-going bug? Thanks.

Nope. I did not experience this kind of annoying problem. I used a two plane formation and the desert map by ubisoft in a daytime mission for the quick test. However, during testing I did notice that zooming out maximum distance from the two plane element in external view made the leadplane disappear once the planes changed into specks. The no 2 plane changed into a speck but it seemed somewhat larger than the "standard specks" in-game and it looked like it had two colors - black and white parts. This imho is a minor flaw as long as you can see at least some of the specks. But a Lancaster disappearing at 50 meters is more serious, unfortunatley this is all I can say about it. One thing did come to my mind but it could be a bit far fetched: you might be missing one of the LOD planes in the 3Do's.

Cheers,
