Djhek, you need the Jetwars pack as well, here:https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,15649.0.html

Make sure you READ the the readme file in the download and alter the air.ini/planes.ru/weapons.ru folders in the SAS/STD folder.

Hi everybody
I have downloaded UP3.0RC4 today and apparently everything is fine.
I still do have concerns regarding how to use the JSGME.exe file. I do not really understand how it works.
I have tried to download a new plane, namely the breda 65. I opened the .rar file and discovered that there are the following files, in this order :
Ba 65
        3do
Arms (plus .msh and .tga and .mat files)
             Cockpit
                       Ba 65 A
Ba 65K (plus .msh and .tga and .mat files)
             Plane
                     Ba 65
                            Summer (plus many.msh files)

Can someone explain where I should put these files ?
Also, it is said that some changes should be brought to the plane_ru.properties file. However, I cannot open it, since my computer does not recognise .properties files...
Many thanks in advance.

Look in your UP3 Folder and find     Sample UP MOD folder, rename to '#UP#' for UltraPack modding, In there is a STD Folder, Place the Plane folder in there. Please read here   https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,1353.msg15573.html#msg15573

And here  https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,3969.msg40749.html#msg40749

And here  https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,16383.msg176102.html#msg176102

These will help you understand it more.

Just got back into playing IL2 46 and I am new to the modding process.  Upgraded to v4.10 .  Then added ModAct 2.3 Beta.  Finally added v4.08 MODs megapack to get access to all the un-flyable planes.  Game crashes at 60% load out on the startup screen.  I did leave out the STD file under the MODS file from the megapack.  Any advice?
