It's an awesome model and aircraft; one of the best ever for IL2. but it's safe to say these aircraft are not really being tested in a FMB environment, to see how they interact and perform with other a/c addons in Jetwar, and how the AI performs in a FMB combat mission, from takeoff to landing. The lack of any replies or feedback, from the uploaders of this and other aircraft that have such great potential is a bit discouraging..

Those AI behaviers are not parts of this Tu-95 MOD.
Tu-95 MOD doesn't have any AI behaviers codes.
Tu-95 MOD v2 only has historical FM parameters weight etc.

IL-2 1946's stock AI codes are made for WWII planes .... heaviest plane was (maybe) B-29.
And it didn't assume Tu-95 like modern heavy heavy planes.
So, to change AI behaviers of Tu-95, we have to develop new AI MOD (a part of SAS Engine MOD).
AI codes are much complex and much difficult to change.

When SAS Engine MOD will be improved with new AI codes for Tu-95, this Tu-95 MOD v2 will be OK without any changes in itself.

With the older FM (Modified Monday, April 01, 2013, 10:10:41 AM) the new model sits static properly, it starts, it taxis, it takes off, it follows its waypoints at correct altitude, it delivers its bombload accurately as long as the speed and alititude are set properly, it flies home to base, it lands perfectly, it taxis to parking, it stops its engines. It will not fire or deliver any missiles under any circumstances, no matter how you set up FMB as instructed.

With the new FM and the new model the tires are sunk in the ground, with the "real" FM it starts up., spins and flips around and blows up. With the "easy" FM it climbs and climbs to outer space regardless of waypoints and altitude settings and will never bomb, or even land. It doesn't deliver any of its missile weapons per the FMB instructions either, under any circumstances.

That's all there is to it.

I (or We) have many projects working on in the same time and thier priorities are often moving up/down with thier completenesses , needs , urgencies , or others.
Once the project is released as a stable version, that priority becomes lower.

I know Tu-95 has small / not serious problems to solve (not only Tu-95 side, but AI MOD side) , I have a plan to do them with helps of SAS genious. My personal knowledge and resources , time are limited. Someone tell me he can help us in those cases , I think we can do them with co-operation.
But wolfiz says he is sutisfied with old strange FM and no need new improvements.
I decide to make Tu-95's priority more low.

Sure, make it lower priority, that way we can have a great model with a crippled fm forever, thanks.

I would be more amazed if he had a better attitude. To say he will delay further improvements this model's fm because someone complained is not in the spirit of modding that this sim had years ago.

Your complaint is fit for a retail product made by a company, not a free product of an individual's own time. Modders have changed, in that, they have become smarter about the risks of their time investment. They know that they will never be compensated for their hard work, here in the vacuum of the internet. Everything they give us is a pure gift, and we should treat it as such.

Teisco, be warned, you are now on my radar, carry on like this and you may find yourself on the outside looking in for a long while.....

Yes... it seems more and more people are forgetting the time it takes to do this... for example it took me severall weeks just to fix the landing gear animation, add counter rotating props and get one turret working... Modding is not an easy task but I love doing it and if more people realized the difficulties then I think every one would get along just alittle bit better
