In Honor of Dec. 7
« on: December 08, 2014, 06:54:37 AM »

Yesterday, a freind of mine (callsign "Mustang") and I got together and flew a co-op mission defending Pearl Harbor.

These are some of the screenshots:

Splash the Zeros, repeat, splash the Zeros! ;)

(as you can see, it was not completely historically accurate. Mustang was flying in USAAF marks, but I was an RAF bloke.)

Mustang leads the attack on some Vals. Sadly, we didn't down any of them. (Darn those tail gunners!)

Predictably, we were damaged by the tail gunners, and diverted to a nearby airbase. Mustang overshot, so he circled around.

I forgot one vital detail, however. Lowering my landing gear. So that went well, of course.

Mustang's next attempt looked shaky, but ended all right.

Total score for the day: 2 A6M Zeroes each, and a handful of Vals (~3-4) damaged between us.
Played on Il-2 Sturmovik 1946 4.07 using the stock "Pearl Harbor Defenders 1" mission as a co-op.
