THIS MOD doesn't work on ships.
Only Stationary Objects set on the ground.

But making new program code for ships and 3D attachment for THE ship, Flags or a Windsock on THE ship may work as following the wind.
But I think ... that may be a bit harder because of they show Synthetic wind direction/speed with the ship's own running.

 :( :-X ???

I installed the "Windsock Moving" and it works perfectly, but when I try to install the "Flag Moving" here is that the game crashes to 70% ... I just installed the SAS 5:12  basically in my game, after  I tried to place the file SFS directly in the root folder, then I tried it through the folder JSGME but always goes in crash at 70% ... what is wrong ??

To stanislao.
It's not clear what you did.

I wrote 3 patterns how to install in my Readme and there no way was written about jsgme.
Because of using jsgme is hard to make a compatibility to ini entries like such Stationary Object / Ships / Aircrafts.

If you want to easy enable/disable each MODs with ini entries , only way is using TotalMODder v3 and I wrote it's 1st recommended way to use FlagMoving MOD.

Thank you very much for this mod.

I installed the windsocks in UP2.01 successfully and they work nicely during campaigns. NOW they are true airfields! :)

Although I have not yet tested flags, I think the icon 4.09 could be added to this thread.

Cheers,
GB

Why I don't set 4.09 Icon is written in my 1st post.
4.09 doesn't give a full function of my MOD.

4.09 doesn't give a full function of my MOD.

I see. Correct.

Just a question: is there any historical reference (e.g. like nationality, kind of airfield, etc.) for the three types of windsock?

Thanks again,

Type1 is only a style LAL_Rone designed.
That windsock Red-White-Red-White-Red pattern is most well seen (I used Google picture search) and I use his design as is.

Other patterns are also found by Google.
I don't know Which airfield or nationality uses which design windsock.

Please select from them as you like in the mission.

Dear Western , first of all thanks for your answer, the question is:
I have a basic Il2 412.2, mod 5.30, I told you that I tried to insert your SFS file directly in the root folder of the game.. but crashes at 70% .. I tried to insert it into the mod "SAS" in the folder "FlagMoving_v1.0 "and then I entered the two  flags lists in the .ini file of objects ... but continues to crash in the opening .. I asked you a listing alternativa procedure, if there is no does not matter, that's okay, anyway Thanks and Merry Christmas .

With the limitations of version 409, these mods work fine!
Thank you very much !  :) :)
