F4U-1A skin from new template

Hello SAS...

I hope everyone has had a happy holiday  :) As usual, I'm a couple of days late with my gifts...just wanting to tidy up a few little things in the new template. In the meantime, here's a quick 'test skin' to take out and kick the tires with. Nothing too special, just a little generic tester for the F4U-1A based on Ira Kepford's scheme. The template should be released soon, within the next couple of days  :P

As always, comments and criticism are welcome.

Thanks guys, glad you like the skin :) I know generics are kind of *meh*, and you'd probably rather have a *real skin* to play with, but I was half-way to making the Kepford when I realized I needed to get some feedback about the template itself. Only RDDR, Monty and eMel have seen it, so I wanted to hear what the rest of the IL2 community on SAS thought before I released the template.

@ Phas3e - I think you'll like the fact that most of the internal parts are just shapes made with highlights and shades, and that they can now be skinned with different primers and paints on a separate layer below the weathering and crud layers, according to what research you can uncover about the individual aircraft. Hell, even the gear legs are set up like that ;) I've re-done the majority of 3D fx, and fixed little things like the wing and rudder ribbing...just a multitude of little things that I missed or didn't know how to do when v2 was released back in 2009 or 2010 (?). BTW, check your PMs buddy!

Eh, that's not a problem. Besides, it can distract enemies in a head-on:

"Wait is there something on his engine? C A S E.." (bullets ricochet and generally cause mayhem, airplane is ruined, enemy pilot roars away laughing) "Son of a...."

What you notice is that those with the "CASEY" advert are not using the engine nacelle mod and Phas3e, you are so it appears a mapping issue between the two.
