Sorry mate!

I stopped every Il2 update on last summer to work on the unified map mod....

....and I'm still working on it every free time I have....

:(

When I add landing lights to a plane, if I add more than one such as " Landing light 01,03,04 " to one wing, it makes the light brighter. Do you think this method would work to make the light be seen from further away?

My lighthouse's light beams are not effect, but polygon mesh (with self luminescence .mat parameters).

IL-2 1946's 3D engine has a hard-coded limit of ground Object drawing, it's distance is 5km (from the center of the object).
So, light beams are seen only inside of radius 5km from the lighthouse.

Do you think that in theory your method could work to create a Leigh Light beam ?
Very important (missing) tool for Coastal/Maritime Patrol Aircraft.

Both Mission builder program and Mission loader program allow changing the height of stationary objects only about "Fire" group.
Any other stationary-s are prohibited it.

So, a different light beam height object needs another slot (classfile + ini entry).
When the new height value (in meters) is told or the new lighthouse 3d model is given, I can add the new slot with adjusted height beam.
Then please tell me 3d model author information. I have to write their credits.

Hello western,

I did not know that "F4 & mouse" (up and down) would be so complicated.

I would have liked to use the light beam only for the lighthouses from the "Objects".

Your lighthouses from the "Static Objects" work wonderfully!
