How to install the Ships?

Presumably these are skins to be placed in the 3do of the ships in shipspack? What about standard ships? Any information as to where to place those skins would be most welcome. Great job Archie!

Dear Archie1971

I still love like the first day I managed to install your ship pack mods!!

This new one is a great mod and new skin revitalize the ship interest and the missing ship desire too!

I have a little request (truly a pray!!!) for you if you can:

Is possible to change the side of the deck island of the generic IJN carrier and put it into the new slot of the Hiryu? (would to Heaven with a big red Hinomaru at the flight deck bow....) I know that this ship isn't the Hiryu but with the island on the other side is anyway better than the Akagi renamed we have at the moment!

I'm asking this because so is possible a better use of this important carrier!!

If could also possible without much time stealed to your life delete the deck island at the new slotted IJN escort carriers we can have more similar ships too!!!

I apologize for my request but I really love ship warfare and I really believe that such modification can be very welcomed from all us!!!

Ok, I have these two in my Mods folder: ships (3do/ships/tanker, tral, tramp, probably Vpmedia's) and shipPack. I donnot have a folder with the standard ships as appears in Archie's screens. Do I have to create a subfolder in the "ships" folder like the one mentioned by you Gerax and include Archie's skins? Second, I noticed that there are several skins in Archie's folders; I suppose they are alternative (eg. the USS sub) so I only save the one I prefer? Thanks, and no hurry,

I too am having a hard time getting this figured out.   I have in my back ups the zips for ship pack 1 and 2 but dont have the folders that Archi has. Do they need to extracted with the sfs extractor?

'Think I found a way through; in my 'ships' folder in the Mods, I created, following Gerax's post, new folders, named 'Kirov", 'MalyiOhotnik', 'M-BOAT', 'USSGatoSS212' and 'USSIndianapolisCA35', placed inside each of them the tga.skin files of each relevant folder from Archie's pack and I now have them in their new guise. I shall continue searching for a solution with the German and Japanese submarines.
