Do you also occurs in the following error when wybo?e 6 bombs, bus to which they should be suspended, lies beneath the earth and so behaves in flight.

if i understand your problem seem a bug that happen if you have installed free modding A-4M too

there are files with the same name in folders that goes in conflict

at first I wanted to create a mod that would make compatible the A- 4 of Texx with the A- 4M

.....but then I saw that if you touch that plane you shoot  :o

I tried to take off from a carrier 50kmh fast using the catapult, but Scooter seems have not the right power to take off, even with 0 payload.
I'm referring to the CUP-Jet era version.
Is it normal? Could you suggest me how to solve. THX.

Same problem here. CUP, clean install, cannot survive launch from carrier's catapult, A-4 accelerates and then falls into the water, even if you fly empty with low fuel load.

So I suppose that the A-4 engine is a little underpowered, because if I try on the same cv with F-4 Phantom I'm able to take off.

wich carrier exactly? wich mission?

Anyway, you can make the catapults stronger for the carrier in question.
Find "catapults.ini" in ...CUP\#JTW\!SAS_Engine_Mod\com\maddox\il2\objects
and find the carrier you want to use. Find the parameters "catapultPower"
and/or "catapultPowerJets" and raise the value(s) there, then restart,
until you get what you want. Try, test and play with this...

And/or raise the value for "year" in the missions mis file you used to - lets say - "1965".
Maybe its even enough only to do this?

Hi Gerax, Vega and bigans !

Well, this time, maybe you just need a simple info ;)

I found the problem.

Our beautiful Skyhawk thinks it has folding wings !

The Skyhawk is carrier spawning with folded wings, but you don't see it in the graphics.

Test it now, spawn on carrier and press "Toggle Wing Fold"......
 you will see the message "Wings Extended".

Now, take off the catapult is possible!



At least one Skyhawk had a folding wing  ;D

What a great intuition VF19_Congo!

You solved the bug.

So the engine was not undepowered, I took off with 50% throttle, no weapon, 50% fuel, 3°of trim and no catapult!!!

Does the upgrade works for CUP jet era?  If so, is there instruction?  I just dont wanna mess up my Il2.  Thanks.
