Hi, I'm pretty new to modding the IL-2 1946. But I have gotten around to it. I have tried installing this patch to the f-100 folder in mod folder. I have jetera 1.33 and modact 5.3 as well version 12.2. I have the original f-100 plane working just fine in game but the elevator is extremely bad when you try maneuver, it's like slow. I'm not sure if this patch fixed the problem. But when I used this patch, the game loads just fine also I could see the load out plane in QMB. However when I click fly, it does load up to 100% but it crashed. The problem displayed with a message: IL-2 6DOF/TIR enable executable for modded IL-2 has stopped working. I did look for the exact problem on this forum but no solution has been found. Can you guys help?

If I understand correctly we must remember to install also this:

Daisy cutter problem - the fix by Stefan enables to use the daisy bombs ...as regular Mk82 bombs - it suppresses the "altitude-linked explosion" from the java code of this bomb.
the log of the problem is as follows
java.util.MissingResourceException: Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key Mk82Daisy
(and I have not installed any F4 in my mods folder)
Can someone help?
SOLVED
There was a double syntax mistake in the BombMk82Daisy.class file:
a sign >= instead <= of < and a pair of forgotten {}.

TAXI and Takeoff also?

I'm just curious if all these jets are being tested in the full 4.12 environment - startup - taxi to runway - takeoff - flight - combat - landing - taxi to parking. I only mention this because it's been an issue since the first release of Jet Era: the F-86 starting up and spinning around, either exploding or running into something..

I'm still seeing it in the latest Mig21bis and F-100s under full load, and I've doublechecked all my files and have no errors in log.

Seems like the same issue F-100 had. (I have touched the FM for myself >.>)
It limits elevator effectivness with speed. Solution was:
1) set the elevator effectivness in FM close to 1 (it's flying elevator, it does not have fit parts)
2) set the treshold to double
3) ever thought about the center of gravity? Modded jets tend to be overly stable which creates for some fun behavior...

No, it's total different

F-100 have a code that reduce lift at high speed, as all other planes, to avoid arcade 20G turns at mach 1.

Here the AV-8 don't want to turn from low speed

Not really, F-100's method affected elevator. Allowing 3G turns max. The max G's are limited by stalling...

LOL, i don't know what mods you have installed, but in my game F-100 turns fine, also 7,5/8G with half fuel

No idea what caused it, but with original FM, I could only reach reasonable turns at around 600 km/h - and even that was not 8G's, standard was 3 to 4. Now that I gave it all-flying elevator (the efficiency goes from circa 0.4 to 0.96 in my case), the treshold to 0.8 - and suddenly it turns normally.

No idea if it was caused by a mod conflict or I had an outdated version - but now it behaves believably. Still need to touch the balance.

Also, this:

These jets are known for having to pitch up the nose very high on takeoff, well before lift off. I think balancing itself will do. I can present my take on the FM (only balance and elevator efficiency changed, rest is unchanged - so all actual turning properties are correct.

The takeoff behaviour of F-100 depends by java codes, not only FM, codes that works only during takeoff.

If you use different javas or you lost codes you will have problems.

Not only takeoff have a java code, but all sides of FM are managed by Java now, expecially lift, engines and energy.

ATM the 50% of FM of jets depends by FM file, other 50 by Java.

That's why I am talking about balancing and elevator efficiency...
...I might try and decompile, and see what version I had. Or download new classfiles..

 - best would be if you sent me your classfiles in text version, I wanted to edit the plane anyways (cockpit, weapons to Western's new ones)
