@tooslow: if you decide to do more adders with ships, be prepared to run into some problems;
I spent the better part of this afternoon to get all ships I consider worthwile and necessary into WAW and it was mostly trial and error with lots of 70% crashes;
it all comes down to the classfiles for the various ship mods, some packs need theirs, others do not and installing a ship as per normal instructions complete with their ini files will crash you at 70%;
the only ship I could not add yet is the Fiji but I will try that one now as well, plus I am missing the ship extension yet;
well, maybe I find some time and motivation tomorrow, the ship ex mod usually takes at least an hour to add everything properly to the various ini files...

but as said, be prepared for a lot of trial and error when adding more ships.....

Edit: Fiji now works too, and I managed to replace the stock Fiji from ShipPack2/3 with the new much more realistic one;
so now only ship extension mod missing

I can help with the ships,  i added with succes the most of ships, C&C, Navaid-GEE and Freya Radars without CTDs and i converted them into 3 sfs files.Now, i only found a few mistakes.

Mick I will include the Stranraer in the next adder.  Also I will attempt to include the Walrus, but I could only find the 4.09 version in a WIP thread.  Hopefully that will work, but if you have better version please send me a reference and I will use that instead.

I can help with the ships,  i added with succes the most of ships, C&C, Navaid-GEE and Freya Radars without CTDs and i converted them into 3 sfs files.Now, i only found a few mistakes. 

lantanido please keep trying to get your sfs files to work.  Your ship addition is far beyond anything I could do and would work better.

The Walrus always worked in my TFM 4.12m and the WIP thread does state that it works and flys in 4.12 so I'm assuming it should be ok in CUP? I really had no idea how much was left out the original #WAW folder but your 'adders' are the bees knees mate!

Those errors mean you have the class files but no 3do or ini entries. Check out ship section on SAS to get some of the mods you need (U class subs, etc)

Brilliant game - I've just flown a Vampire FB5 for the first time since February 1954 so that may have an effect on my problem!
I can load DOF and WAW but although I've re-installed WAW files several times, I cannot load WAW beyond 70% before it goes CTD.
An earlier suggestion about putting // in front of certain P51's but that only resulted in a black screen.
I have details of the initlog and logfile saved but cannot find how to attach them - or which one gives someone the best opportunity of seeing the cause of the problem.
Any suggestions about how to get WAW to open would be welcomed.

Many thanks Griffon_301 - I initially deleted the files that you suggested and added the new ones but it made no difference. However having downloaded the latest WAW part 7 and installed it, everything is fine now. You've been a great help.

I would also be interested in any possible fix to this glitch (see reply #1023) - it seems to be the same thing I was asking there.

Is anyone getting the same logfile filling entries? My CUP appears to work OK but I can't help but think that this ship issue and the multiple FM loads are slowing the game down (not just the loading / logfile writing).

To Sir Rod - Yes me too on the "ERROR ... Icons not found" glitch on my pilot setups and default paint-scheme too.
If anyone has some ideas or pointers on that it would be most appreciated.

I have a quick check on the equivalent logfiles between a "vanilla" IL2 (tiny), my Modact version with loads of extra planes and maps (about 300Kb) and CUP (2-3Mb - maxed at 14Mb with the WEP problem!)
