T-6 and SU-24 ver 1.2 very Beta
« on: March 27, 2015, 05:12:31 PM »

Hi All!  :)

T-6 and SU-24 ver 1.2  very Beta  (without wings with variable sweep)

Tested for 4122 + SASModakt 5.33 +JetEra1.33 and Engin mod.

Tested for 4101 + SASModakt 3.06+JetEra1.33  and Engin mod.

Short history: After T-58 (Su-15) next prototype was T-6:

And next step was Su-24:

For a successful installation, you will need  Tu-16 from here:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,33890.0.html

 and MIG-19 from here:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,25695.msg265590.html#msg265590

Download T6&Su-24:

https://www.mediafire.com/download/ybyb7u4o39hdcu1/00_Sukhoi_T-6&SU-24_ver_1.2.7z

Installation:

1   Download, unzip and put the SU-24 folder in your Mods folder.

2.  Add this lines to your air.ini

Su-T6              air.Su_T6 1               NOINFO  r01   SUMMER
Su-24         air.Su_24 1          NOINFO  r01   SUMMER

3.  Add this lines to your PLANE_RU

Su-T6               T-6 Fencer-A,prototype 1969
Su-24               Su-24 Fencer-A, 1970

Known bugs in this version:
An opportunity not a full selection of weapons.
The parachute is not in a correct place.
Has not passed a full test on compatibility with other mods.
The output of the flame nozzle engines may not be in the right place.

We did not know what would be most appropriate cockpit crew, sitting side by side and yet chose B-24 cockpit.

I apologize for the bugs in 3D and DM.

If it's anything like the F-111, it's a winner...both the T-6 and SU-24 were dawdling about in QC, which is NOT a good way to test a/c, with the low speeds set in the limited waypoints, when one shot down my F-18 - will run some FMB missions tonight..looks promising  :-)

Thank you gentlemen. :)

Indeed F-111 and Su-24 are similar, developed almost at the same time, the F-111 beginning in 1967, the Su-24 beginning in 1970.
F-111 participated in operations in Vietnam, Libya, Gulf.
Su-24 participated in the operations of Afghanistan, Caucasus, and unfortunately now too. :(

Perhaps there still need to work in 3D, but in any case, IMHO, these birds should be here.

kind regards ;)
