Kanttori, Your environment looks very nice and inviting, making me want to fly over it! There's something mysterious about those cold northern forests that draws me to them. I'm also still waiting for someone to make a map of the Tikhvin region, southeast of Lake Ladoga. But yours looks really nice.

I remember our discussion on last spring. As you see the Karelia map is really huge now, so it is not good idea attach any areas to the south to this map. But I think after this one is ready built I can tried to build your Lake Ilmen map, too. But TWO CONDITIONS:
1) Somebody else is doing the map_c to me!!! After this huge Karelia I am not going to do ANY watermap in the rest of my life, you can trust me...
2) I need a lot of reference material: old airfield maps and recoinnaisance aerial photos, old wartime maps etc. If you don't have them yet you can start to collect that material!
But if somebody edit that map_c to me, I can do a about 300 x 300 km (?) Lake Ilmen map to you with some custom airfields and rest with the default Airfields. I have also some of my old terrain textures available (I have done a Kurland map to Aces High about ten years ago...) and I can also use these Karelia textures.
But this project is possible after one year because Karelia needs on this winter totally all my free time. We can discuss from Lake Ilmen also here in my new Karelia thread:
