Not in Perfect Mode.  To start with, change Hardware Shaders to 1.

Hi nightace,
You've really got to be in perfect mode for most maps these days. ;)
I always make any new maps in perfect mode
Excellent mode just doesn't cut it any more

Ash,
Thanks for your involvement here too busy with a lot of work yesterday  :D

Ash, ditto on the support help Kirby mentioned.  I'm guilty of just not checking back here since there was no activity for awhile.  Wow, I checked today and, what a surprise!

Thank you for helping out!

Stop making your very own personal issues look like general problems with mods here.

Do you care for replies at all?
Not in Perfect Mode.  To start with, change Hardware Shaders to 1.

If you're seeking for help then start accepting the hints given.
At the moment it looks like you're just here to cause trouble and distract others from using these mods.

Nightace:
Some issues I see :D with your config.ini:

Under the Render OpenGL section:

If you use

TexQual=3
TexMipFilter=3
TexCompress=0

then do not!
Set

TexFlags.TexCompressARBExt=1 set it to 0.

The settings in black are only for NVidia graphics cards

TexFlags.TexEnvCombine4NV=1
TexFlags.TexEnvCombineDot3=1
TexFlags.DepthClampNV=1
TexFlags.SeparateSpecular=1
TexFlags.TextureShaderNV=1

For AMD/Ati, set them to zero

and

HardwareShaders=0
must be

HardwareShaders=1

for all advanced maps.

Water=1 is a low value

For better water:
AMD/Ati cards

Water=2

Nvidia

Water=4

If you lack objects, did not read the full thread, but..:
" i have DBW , 412.2m MOD and 413 MOD"

Those are 3 pairs of shoes.

DBW is for IL-2 1946 patched to 4.10, neither 4.12 nor 4.13.

If you are new to modded IL-2 I recommend C.U.P. as game install.

Usually, if objects lack, the map won't save any missions.

Chrs ;)

It's on your end.
You fail to explain what you have installed.
You fail to explain what exactly you're doing in order to enable others to reproduce your issue.
You fail to follow any advice given in this thread.

where do you see me making a general issue ?
For instance here:
when you start the map again you cant place any objects again.

seeking help by the developer here
Ah... so the help offered by hundreds of other users who have everything working fine with this map isn't good enough for you?
Is that why you deliberately refuse to follow any advice given?

Best regards - Mike

I do not see any logical lines here.
The changes have to be done MANUALLY inside the config.ini.

The rest is dependant on your install. IF you installed CUP correctly and others can run the map in CUP and you cannot save objects, you fucked up your install. As simple as that.

Now read all advice again and do not bother posting again until you follow it. ;)

Seriously, it is not rocket science. Either your PC or your install have issues, if you cannot save a map, you lack objects. Cannot place objects on a map is something I never heard of in the context of map issues. If you have map issues, they are usually:
Textures missing
objects missing-cannot save
wrong ini lines

Open the map, hit shift AND Tab, a screenshot with text will pop up, take that screen and post it.

And in case you are only out here to mess with our patience not following ANY advice, don't bother.
