Eastafrica                        Kt_eastafrica/load.ini
this map is accessible in FMB.

Nice observation!  The required files must already be in place.  Thanks for the heads up, have included new all.ini's in the next update.  Also going to have a look for other easter eggs lurking in there.

SASMME - SAS MODULAR MAP EXPANSION.

This is part of Module 1 - The Maps.  They are used by everything else in CUP, Dawn of Flight, World at War, The Jet Age - They all use the same maps resource (isn't that brilliant?) - So all of our maps are in one place and when we upgrade - adding more maps and objects - the Map-Upgrade applies to everything.

Module One now has 10 parts - It will shortly have 11 parts, taking CUP to 360 Il2 maps.

Whenever a module is upgraded and a part added the main REQUIREMENTS PAGE, always at the top of this Forum, is also updated.

There are a number of parts for several reasons.  Principally, because we can't do everything at once, and also to reduce the download size and keep it manageable.  There is always new stuff coming along, improvements being made and other items we discover and improve by using the packages. - Which is why I love this community.

The only rule is - do them in number order, ie; if you are up to part-08, don't skip to part-10.  Do part-09, then part-10.  Each successive part will overwrite the next and add more content.


So, for maps, SASMME, everyone should get them...  ;D

BTW, you are damned right Crasher! - That WAW F3 flyby is really something special!  Try chopping out the throttle on out some flybys and let your engine spool down to low revs - you can hear the difference!  Then try ramming the throttle in the middle of the next flyby and listen to it rev up again.  My favourites are the big radials, try the Grumman Duck.  :)

Thanks Monty 27, so if I have it right will this update for Map expansion part 10 will it be in part 11 when it is released so am I ok to just wait for part 11 ?
