DCG Error

Hi all,

I was using the DCG Carrier Operations campaign and as I was about to generate a new campaign an Error message came up saying ' " is not a valid interger value" and the game CTD. Now when I try to generate a new career the game just minimizes and doesn't generate anything. Any suggestions?

You should go to Lowengrens forum and search there. This is quite a common problem but I cannot remember the soluiton. You´ll find the forum at this address http://forums.oesau.jg1.org/index.php?sid=078441b340af3778b6faa9535349c98e (You might need to register)

Hi and welcome!
Which Mods and DCG version do you use, also which subcampaign have you tried to start?
When you have next time such errors and you cant end IL-2 as normal, go to taskmanager and close also the process "DGen.exe", then you should start again IL-2 without errors!

I am using DBW with DCG 3.47. I was using the Carrier Operations 1941-45 v1.6 for DBW and tried to start the Luzon 1944 subcampaign when it happened. It was odd because I was able to use several other subcampaigns and other DCG campaigns without issues. I can exit the game just fine but the missions won't generate. When I click the Generate button the game just minimizes.

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't replied lately but I seem to have found at least most of the problem. It seems that DGen was indeed running in the background somehow and caused DCG to go haywire. But I will definitely check out the fix suggested in the other thread!
