U-2VS as Romeo (IMAM) Ro.1 Generic skins






The Ro.1 was a licensed copy of Fokker C.V.e with a new engine (an Alfa-Romeo/Bristol Jupiter IV) and other improvements (new undercarriage,
ventral fin etc etc). This plane was extensively used in Libya and during the Ethiopian War (together with the new Ro.37).
Withdrawn from first line duties in the late '30s, the Ro.1 was reassigned to "Observation schools", trainig squadrons for recon crews.
