The photos you show are NOT a Gas truck of GMC CCKW.
It is an Air Compressor truck variant.

A Gas truck is here.

if anybody won't do,
I'll make it.

Ummm..... maybe till the end of 2015. (Again I cannot promise it.)

Ummm..... maybe till the end of 2015. (Again I cannot promise it.)

2 years passed from my post but ..... impossible, no time I can share on CCKW.

By the way, I increase my interests about Airbase refuel trucks / fire engines containing CCKW and Studebaker US6 , other WWII time ones , not only Cold War time I'm trying.

A small question.
I find some photos and plastic kits about CCKW fuel tanker.
At USAAF Airbases, CCKW fuel tanker often towed 1x or 2x / 3x fuel tank trailers like here ....
http://pavlikhobbykits.zdenny.cz/215-gmc-cckw-353-airfield-fuel-tank-600-gallon-trailer-a3-de.html
When I'll finish single CCKW fuel tanker and have a bit more time, try this tank trailer .....

Btw my question is about how send internal fuels from those trailers to hungry aircrafts ?
I cannot think those little trailers have some engines to work itself's pump.
Mechanical power train "Power Take-off" from CCKW's driveshaft is also hard to guess.
Rest .... rubber tube connects from a trailer to the CCKW and CCKW's pump inhales fuel from the tailer and send to an aircraft ?
Someone knows answer ?
