Maybe someone can assist me, FMB single missions

First, I downloaded skins and they show in the dropdown, I choose the same skin for the 4 planes in my flight. When I go to play, the other planes have the skin, but the players plane is still the default (even though it shows the new skin is selected in QMP)

Second, yesterday in testing a mission I'm building in FMB the player's plane drifts to the right with the engine off at the start. When the engine is on, there is very limited rudder control and cannot taxi to takeoff. Tried it both in FMB "Play", and Single Mission both did the same. (winds picked were 10m/s)

Not sure if this will help but something to check.

1.  Before flying your mission (i.e. after you have selected "Fly") check your aircraft via the arming screen and you should be able to select the appropriate skin there.  I've had similar problems where the FMB is set for one skin but when I get ready to fly (in coop) I check my aircraft and find it has another or previous default skin.  I simply select the skin at that point and carry on.  Hope that makes sense.

2.  You don't specify which aircraft.  Set your wind to zero so you know for a fact that it isn't the cause (10m per sec is still a good wind).  If your a/c doesn't move in zero wind.....problem solved.  If it does move then it may be a mod conflict.  Change to a different a/c and try it again.  If every type of a/c moves with no engine and no wind then you definitely have a problem.  If a/c  is good then check that the tailwheel is not locked.  Check that your parking brake is not 'on'.  Check calibration on your rudder control (i.e. joystick or pedals whichever you use).  Check also that your prop pitch is calibrated correctly.  If your prop pitch is not correct (i.e. full) for takeoff you can crank your throttle wide open but your a/c is going to move very slowly because the prop is not cutting the air to pull you forward.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the response..

As far as the plane moving.... its a P-47D-40

In other missions, pretty much same conditions, it doesn't do this.  It's a very slow rotation to the right with the engine off like 40+ degrees, tailwheel not locked, brakes not on, prop to 100%. Of course, this places me to clip #2 in the flight because I cannot turn the nose left. Just weird.

I'll try some different combinations tonight... thanks again

Concerning to the skins, there is another point.
For some reason the game uses to load the player aircraft skin which is selected in "Quick Mission"...so that is adviceable to check and/or load the desired in that section in order to get it loaded in FMB.

Slowed the winds down and now it is manageable.
