Thank you for that rotating help! EDIT: What must I do with the mouse and F5, It don't rotate? Is it really working also with the HSFX Unlocked FMP? F10 is good!

Don't know about Unlocked FMB but in default FMB you can rotate objects by pressing F5 and right mousebutton at the same time. And when moving the mouse left/right object rotates.

I got no idea about 2048x2048 textures and HSFX History MOD.

EDIT:
Some more mapmaking info by SAS~Boomer. In case you have missed it.
If there is someone around who seems to know every tiny little detail of IL2 mapmaking it's him to consult.

What I did with my HighRez Crete map is deleting all unwanted objects in UP3RC4 Unlocked FMB and pasting the new static.ini into my DBW1.71 install. So Crete was basically empty except the airfields.

What is that "static.ini" -file in your example? I understood that I must work only with the "actors.static" file?

My mistake.
You need to work only with the actors.static indeed.
Static.ini is the file where all objects are listed. Actors.static is the list where objects are listed for that particular map.

By the way, about the initial question regarding the too big actors.static there is a way to open maps in Unlocked FMB which have an actors.static with a larger filesize.

Thanks, so now I think I have understood almost everything and can continue my job! Actually I tested the map with my new actors.static-file (only airfields and couple of buildings in Viipuri-town) and the old Finsgulf-missions and they worked fine in Off-line.

But it don't worked with the VP-server, because it runs with the old default map and I had the new version in my computer. I noticed that If there are any difference with the actors.static in the server and in the user's game, it don't work. But with the new textures, new map_c and new map_T there are any problems. The server needs just the same actor.static file what the server's users have. Have you noticed that?

So I think it goes that way: Later when this new version is ready I name it as "Finsgulf_RRR" or something like that and users can choose are they playing with this version or with the old version?
