Hi Maurice,

All fine, tested in DBW I'm getting mirrored Prop (static + rotating) on N1K1-Jb, could you take a look it.
The other N1K1 are OK, just vthat one.

Thanks a lot Mate for another Update...

In this case you also have a problem with Ja!
Agree?
They use the same files from the bXXX.msh !
Prop are same !
I can provide help to Rebels ... but I do not have what it takes to provide Privateers!  :-X

Anyway I have it fixed in DBW.
Important loading hierarchy:
1.PA_Jeronimo Engine CowlingProp Fixes
2.06__N1K1_Family_for409-410

Not the other way around, N1K1-Jb will not have a Prop then.

To fix Prop position edit b_hier.him in
06__N1K1_Family_for409-410\3do\Plane\N1K1-Ja(ja)
06__N1K1_Family_for409-410\3do\Plane\N1K1-Ja(Multi1)

at parts of [Prop1_D0], [Prop1_D1] and [PropRot1_D0] replace

with New Entries:
Code: [Select]
[Prop1_D0]
Mesh Prop1_D0
Parent Engine1_D0
Separable
Attaching -1 0 0 0 -1 0 0 0 1 0 -0.79872 -0.03090

[Prop1_D1]
Mesh Prop1_D1
Parent Prop1_D0
Hidden
Separable
Attaching -1 0 0 0 -1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0

[PropRot1_D0]
Mesh PropRot1_D0
Parent Prop1_D0
Hidden
Separable
Attaching 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0

Happy flying Mates

Merci Epervier!  ;D

All is working well in my 4.09 + UP2.01 install. However, I have noticed that if I use the 4.10 class files in my 4.10 + DBW 1.71 install, that the game freezes when I exit a QMB mission while flying the N1K1-J & N1K1-Ja.

Using the class files from the 4.09 folder in my 4.10 + DBW install seems to solve the problem.  :)

Hehe... So it seems!  ;)

It would be interesting to hear from others that have tested the 4.10 class files, if they also have their 4.10 game freezing when exiting a QMB mission with the N1K1-J & N1K1-Ja.

From what I have found, the 4.09 class files are all that is needed (and all that is working correctly) for both 4.09 & 4.10 versions of the game.

Knochenlutscher's fix flips prop to fix direction of rotation, but I don't have flipped prop meshes to work with it. Is that rotation direction fix released somewhere so that I missed it?

I also get that 4.10 game freeze with
java.lang.ClassCastException: com.maddox.il2.objects.air.N1K1JA
   at com.maddox.il2.objects.air.CockpitN1K1J$Interpolater.tick(CockpitN1K1J.java:90)

Thank you Birdman !
your message helps a lot!
Please test this fix for code 410!
If this is correct I will modify the complete archive!
