Thanks a lot KB. :)

ATM having the most jet fun with Jeronimo#s newly meshed F-84 cockpit and his outside 3D fix in UP 2.01. :D
Panthers are also cool jets! :P ;)

Will check the FX later, atm I work on downgrading my MA 5.3 install (way too many mods).

Cheers

Companion Panthers and Skyraiders for Tom's F-86 moved to new thread, so as not to hijack Tom's F-86 thread any further.  See here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,48860.0.html

Cheers all, special thanx to Tom for inspiring my interest in 4.09 flying all over again!  ;D

Screen from IES 3

Also added a panel with alpha channel back in, to avoid issues.

Greybeard offers some constructive criticism and is hereby welcomed to post any finding and/or improvement or simply discussion material for interested users and modders, not the first time I regret I cannot work code. ;) :)

Hi Tom!

Thanks again for this detailed review of Sabre cockpit (and more). I had reason to download and install only now and especially appreciated the rearview mirror for its exactly historical placement. Couldn't believe to my eyes when, opening canopy, I saw it sliding backward! I could have bet it was more easily fixed to the top of windscreen frame... :-[

Nevertheless, I would point out that Freddy's cockpit lacks a Shift+F1 view. I extracted and applied the relevant settings from DBW. Here follow the modified Body86.msh:

It includes a raised POV. This latter has the inconvenience to bring reticle outside of the gunsight glass:

If you don't like the raised POV, just delete row containing CAMERAUP <BASE> and third line of [HookLoc]. ;)

Thank you for the body mesh mod and your feedback via pm as well. :)
The credit for the mirror model of course went and goes to Jeronimo. I only had to adjust it on the cockpit..and put some additional pieces together, a.o. from cromhunt. Never gave up hope Freddy one day came back and added a few "never seen in any sim" extras. :P

As promised, if all family issues go fine I will check this out tomorrow. ;)

Today I am on F-80 and P-38 "diet". :D
Best Regards

Here an additional mod, thanks to greybeard for pointing it out and to SAS~Epervier for reworking the code:

New hydraulics code for the flaps and airbrake position on takeoff and hyd pressure gauge functional now in the 3D pit:

Before:

After

Gauge spooling up

The mod:
https://www.mediafire.com/download/a7o0wc86tvilnzj/F-86_Fix.7z

..keep one thing in mind: Use the slatted 3D mod from page One as the non slatted 6-3 wing aka the wing with the fence will show the error as on above screenies, the non slat wing of course will not move downwards. ;)
 Other than that, no objections..

Cheers

Hope the timing of the mod will ease the Italian chap's frust a tad wrt to the very close Football match today where both teams played great. My regards to the Italian team, even as non soccer fan I admit they played outstanding. :P
