please Poltava
on your picture, the second ship at right...what's her name?

Colony Class Cruiser - HMS Fiji  (stand in for HMS Repulse?)  https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,14630.0.html
Not included in CUP yet.  Model named HMS Fiji in CUP is a repainted US cruiser.

Yes, that's correct. And yes, it function as a stand-in for Repulse. Campaign building has it share of compromises  ;)

thank you thank you thank you for this long awaited beauty :D it works flawlessly first time in 2.10 DBW !

BTW, the British ships were sunk by medium/high altitude level bombing, not torpedoes ;)

I think the damage model is "interesting" check out the floating engine cylinders and the dead waist gunners floating outside the aircraft :o

Will, I would say BOTH by torpedoes and bombs. Torpedo-armed "Nells" inflicted the first, catastrophic torpedo hit on Prince of Wales, the one that ultimately led to her doom. All in all some 49 torpedoes were used against the two ships.

Not true.

The Royal Navy carried out a detailed enquiry into the sinking of the two warships.

Repulse

Attack 1 -- Level bombing, 1 near miss, 1 hit -- minor damage, no damage below main deck.
Attack 2 -- Torpedo bombers, all miss.
Attack 3 -- Level bombing, one near miss, no damage.
Attack 4 -- Torpedo bombers, 1 torpedo hit, continued to manoeuvre and steam at 25 knots.
Attack 5 -- Torpedo bombers, 1 hit jammed rudder, loss of control, 3 more torpedo hits, uncontrollable flooding, sunk.

Prince of Wales

Attack 1/2 -- Level bombers and torpedo bombers, hit by 6 torpedoes and one bomb (no significant damage from the bomb). Main damage caused by 2 torpedo hits aft which crippled the rudder an port propeller shaft. The shaft was torn off creating a large hole in the hull and destroying the port turbine. Speed reduced to less than 15knts and unable to manoeuvre.
Attack 3 --- entirely on Repulse.
Attack 4 --- Torpedo bombers - 4 torpedo hits, ship began to settle rapidly.
Attack 5 ---  level bombers - 1 hit on catapult deck.
Capsized and sunk 2 hours after first hit.

Thanks for this bomber!

I just found that the G3M2 22 type96 bomber NELL "dogfighted" a PBY Catalina and shot the Catalina down! (On 25 December 1941).

I got this working straight away in HSFX 7.0.3.  What would the text entries be for the stationary and technic.ru files?  They were not listed in the read me file.

Thank you in advance.

stationary.ini and technics.ini used for SP or SSP plane !

For SSP see here : https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,15399.0.html

I am not familiar with S.P or S.S.P.

I have added planes before and have never  had to enter a seperate .ini entry for Self Stationary Planes to have them available in the FMB.  Would you please explain what this is?

The book I'm reading Shanghai 1937-Stalingrad on the Yangtze refers
to this plane as "the highly flammable G3M".
