Is Tiger33 Fly-by-sound working in SAS_Modact_6.00?

      Tiger33 fly-by-sound is my favorite sound mod, i have it working OK in DBW171, but is there Someone managed to successfully make it work in SAS_Modact_6.00_for_IL-2_4.13RC4m?

I suggest try it out:

Drop tigersounds_1.sfs and tigersounds_2.sfs in the map SFS_AUTO. Next, put '00_Tiger_33 Ultimate Sound Mod V3' map (the second download) into your #SAS map.

I think NO.

Maybe fieldgun firing or some workings in game cause serious crash.

Rename tigersounds_1.sfs and tigersounds_2.sfs to sas_sound_03.sfs and sas_sound_04.sfs. Drop them in the map SFS_AUTO. Next, put '00_Tiger_33 Ultimate Sound Mod V3' map (the second download) into your #SAS map.

It worked for me. I´m on 4.13RC4/ Modact 6.01.

where is this second download situated ? and where is this SAS map located ? i have tiger in my DBW game.

Hello Nightace, sorry for the late response.

I meant the 'Jsgme Package', see post #1 of the original topic: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,3258.0.html

The #SAS map is the mod map for SAS Modact. Every MOD package has it's own mod map inside the IL-2 main folder. So for DBW it is #DBW.

Hi Folks,

I was hoping for some instructions or guidance on installing Tiger 33's Ultimate Sound mod. The one posted here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,3258.0.html

If that is different then the Fly-by mod discussed in this thread I apologize in advance.  I know that Paulo Hirth in the first post said he got it working with DBW.

My goal is to build a clean version of DBW 1.71 ( and not add the optional Jivers Sound Mod 2) but rather install Tiger 33's sound mod. The instructions on the link confused me so I was wondering if you folks might be able to provide some guidance.

Note - I just want to install the sound mod and not an engine mod or additional stuff if that is possible? Besides Tiger33's sound mod I will be installing only a few additional mods. One of them will be the Plutonium Universal Effects Mod. Not sure if that will be a conflict?

Tigers sound mod includes the flyby sounds but there's a flyby only version for 4.12.

If you wan to install Tigers sound mod for DBW 1.71 you need to do two things:

1. places the sfs files into gameroot (UV3_SFS.rar)
2. place classfiles into #DBW (UV3_JSGME+ReadMe(2).rar), you can use jsgme or just copy the folder manually

Install Plutonium Universal Effects Mod afterwards, if it crashes theres a conflict. Then you can try to change the load order.
