Stepped outside my house yesterday as a Steerman flew over and landed at the airport next to my house so I went over to have a look. The pilots were really friendly and I spent some time talking with them.









The last one is me talking to one of the pilots.

AAH! Great news Mark. Today I have seen something very diferent in the skies over my house, other
than the ocasional mosquito.
It was a Orion flying by very very low.
Those 4 propeller engines make an awesome sound.  Sounded like four Spitfires in formation.
I never knew we had Orions flying around here. So this was nice to see.
I didnt get a change to take a photo, but it looked like this...

Hey Mark, nice shots! Only thing I get to hear not see over here are EF-2000s which fly over this house regularly and are way too loud to be fun, even at medium alt. You can always hear them but almost never see them.
