For the request: +1. It's a quaint little "what if," and I like it.

On a different note: Topics are only removed by moderators if one of two conditions exist:
1. The request has been made before, so the new one is only taking up server space (the reasoning being that it would be better to just add to that thread rather than start a new one.

2. Not enough information given. So basically "Could we have ______ aircraft?" with no material (diagrams, photos, cockpit layouts, performance stats, armament, etc) is in violation of the rules of posting in the request section.

If you haven't already, I would recommend reading it. It is pretty short, and perfectly concise. It will also save the (personal) frustration of having a request deleted.

This is a very interesting aircraft design. It was already being built when WW2 ended, but no one is sure if
would be any better than all the previous designs.
That twisting reversible tail design is very interesting. The rudder would be in the Up-position when landing, and it
would be in the Down-position when it was flying.
It featured ...

 * Retractable landing gear.
 * Pressurized cabin.
 * Remote rear-ward firing machine gun and cannon.
 * Rotating 180 degree tail fin

The tail gunner controlled a remotely operated turret with weaponry of different calibers contained in the same assembly.
* one 151/20 20 mm cannon and one MG 131 13mm machine gun.
or
* A 13mm MG 131 series machine gun as well as a 15 mm MG 151/15 series cannon

I am not sure if this is possible to achieve easily in the IL2-1946+Mods. It may look easy, but nothing is really easy when
creating mods.

You may want to take a look at the original aircraft "mock-up" prototype being built...

.
another design from an internet artist (not the real machine design) ...

.
Someone has already built one for some other flight-sim game...

Awesome Request, I guess this hit the nail just right.

Rayhan, a lil gift from me, a quick Gif Animation showing retraction of Tailwheel+Rudder
Copy and paste the following Link to the first post if you want.  ;)

This should get a bit attention
BTW. It looks like a bird, I mean with a bit fantasy and the retraction in loop.

+1 From me

its interesting to see how such the tail configuration could affect the Diving Performance, plus it would be a nice addition to the 1946' Alt-Era Family

PS to Rayhan*
