I know that the early models of the PBY had landing gear, I was wondering if there was any way to add an early version of the PBY w/landing gear in the future? Maybe a version of the wildcats front gear and a nose gear from the B-24J?

Just a thought.

This has been thought of, afaik some of the guys are trying to find a way to get a working 'amphibian' plane, but I'm not too sure of their progress. I'll wait in hope.... :D

As will I. the earlier version will be a hell of alot easier to take off from an airstrip in QMB.

'amphibian' was the word I was looking for. I couldn't spit it out. Brain fart I guess.

The PBY-5 still looks identically like the PBN-1, but the real planes have some differences.
It would be nice, if someone could do a refine 3D Model for it, in particular the tail of the PBY.
