CASA C-101 Aviojet - C-101BB/CC
« on: August 18, 2015, 04:00:15 PM »

My request is for the inclusion of the Spanish trainer and light attack aircraft CASA C-101.

[WIKI]
The CASA C-101 Aviojet is a low-wing single engine jet-powered advanced trainer and light attack aircraft. It remains in service in the Spanish Air Force and some other countries; it is also flown by the Patrulla Aguila aerobatics team.

[ME]
The aircraft is used by Spain, Chile, Honduras, and Jordan as an advanced jet trainer, and a light attack aircraft. I think it would make a nice complimentary aircraft to the L-139/159 series we have currently. I have always found these types of jets very fun to fly in IL-2.

I have seen many of them fly and do anything from maneuvers, flybys, landings, t/o, etc. since I have a relative that lives near Torrejón Air Base. Definitely a great aircraft!

+1 for sure!

I agree it is a "nice" aircraft ... but it is has nothing that makes it stand out from so many other Light Attack/Trainer aircraft ... see  how many you can name ....   ;)

... and some of them are a lot sexier ....

... my point exactly ... but I thought the Gnat in that scheme would fool a few of you  ;)

Why would it? I've seen a few back in India.  8) But yeah, I get what you mean.
Though the Gnat in IL-2 would be nice..  ;)

Add F-104 and we might have a nice Indo-Pakistani scenario...

...GJE - where did you leave L-29 and 39? :D
That first, second - what is that MiG-21 franken on the top?

The top aircraft is a JS-9 trainer aircraft.
