With permission of Mr. Avala, here are the hints from his PM:

Here are map with the newer textures, less dark and some completely redone. Use it with their corresponding BumpH textures, it is looking much better with them. (I believe cyberolas use some of them. I sent it to him)

Anyway if you are using my file structure you can always change the light on the map with the file:

Zemlja.mat

Which is situated in textures folder.

Just change these settings up for the brighter textures or down for the darker:

Ambient 0.80
Diffuse 1.55

Is ...../Mape+Srbija+Bengali.rar a replacement for your serbia map? Or does it just contain the Zemlja.mat you mention?

Perhaps it would be better to ask Mr. Avala ? Because the hint mentioned in Post no 12 above is his improvement.
