Thanks to Vega, Koty and everyone involved for the MiG-21, it's my favourite IL2 jet
and the primary reason I am modding in this sim

I notice that in CUP versions of Mig-21, the take off run looks real,
with nose gear lifting early and then main gear lifts off much later,
I see this in all videos of real Mig-21's take off.

In Unified 1.3 and MiG-21_2-0-0_RV packs, the take off behaviour
is a sudden rotation and lift off, not gradual as before. I think the old
way is better and looks really cool!



In the newest MiG-21_2-0-0_RV update, the performance seems much
improved at Low altitude, faster acceleration, I like this a lot
This latest update with the extra Mig variants is just awesome, thx thx THX !

Thanks, I added the MiG-21bis to my stationary with your info,
but I cannot get the MiG-21MF Stationary to show up in the FMB window.

Also, blown flaps no longer work.

When I installed to my modact 5.3, this latest updated Mig-21 pack,
"MiG-21_2-0-0_RV.rar", I removed all previous versions of the Mig-21
then I added "MiG-21_2-0-0_RV" as a stand-alone mod .......

Was I supposed to over-write the Unified 1.3 pack with this one?

Yes, we will need a whole overhaul of FM To simplify it and unify it But that will take long.

old FM maybe looks better when plane takeoff, but all the remaining things are heavy developed, no matter

I agree with Vega, the latest version is very nice, despite take off attitude.
Mig-21 is actually easier to take off now without fear of tail strike, so
less of a challenge for experienced Mig pilots, better for novice!

* Please clarify, the latest MiG-21_2-0-0_RV is complete package or overwrite
the previous SAS MiG-21 Unified Pack v1.3 - Sept. 2015 version ?

I found an error in the MiG-21MF's technics.ini script, got the stationary plane working now

Dear 4S_Vega.

In the original mods MIG 21 first and third génération,the radio compass works properly.
But in your update V.1.3 it seems no longer operate normally for S,MF and BIS.
Or may be i dont understand something.
Am i the only one to have this problem ?

version 2.0 now is standard at first post!

anyway, it needs an important FM fix, because it cannot maintain the cruise speed at altitude, too much drad at low AOA (this behaviour is old, not of 2.0)

I do not want to bother you but the problem about radio compass is still the same on v 2.0 for

S,SM,MF,MFN and BIS.

Eh, just enrolled for next year of university this week, actually.

I'd personally wait for new eastern bombs to be released - swap FAB-500 for the actually used one - and such.

BTW1: MiG-21 did not have single-drop option, only pair and salvo, but you could choose pylons.
BTW2: Radio compass should be cockpit code thing.
