I can't remember having had any issues with that, but I'm uncertain about the B-25J to be honest.
Could you try the P-38J or L instead?

Works on the P-38s, must be something on my end.  Thanks Mike!

Mk13 Late - and only this torp - is in the loadout dropdown but grayed out. As seen in the screenshot, date doesn't seem to matter, even after save-loading the mission file on the 1945 date.
As per https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,48712.msg784654.html#msg784654 I know some form of date restriction is or was intended, but clearly 1.1.1945 > 1.1.1944, right?
And in my opinion, its weird that one Mk13 variant is the only munition in the whole game with a date restriction... at least i think its the only one

Currently trying to investigate, but stumbled upon an Eclipse issue where, after updating to the newest Eclipse release, there is no Java 1.3 compiler support available anymore... dammit.
Turns out Eclipse 4.33 and later (2024-09 release IMHO), they dropped support for Java 1.7 and older, hence 1.8 would be the oldest available version, which is unsuitable for IL-2 (unless using the dreaded TD 4.15 "mod-killer" version, or some other half-baked launcher).

What I can tell so far is that the following weapons make use of the "dateOfUse" parameter:
Mk 13 late torpedo
Mk 13a late torpedo
RRAB3
RRAB3 - 250
SAB55 - 100
MG151/20 motor cannon on 109F2
Bat bomb, with different values set for B-24J-100, F-4U-1D and others

I'm trying to get my Eclipse sorted, stand by...

Alright, turns out IL-2 only updates the mission file properties internally once the mission gets played.
Click Mission -> Play -> Fly.
Abort the mission (ESC key).
That way the selected mission date is read into memory and IL-2 applies restrictions accordingly.

As this seems to be stock game behaviour and changes to it are likely to create a quadrozillion of unwanted side effects, I'd rather like to keep this as is.
