You got me, Kurogane, completely forget that.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but i can't seem to figure out how to spawn planes for taxi to takeoff in FMB. I do it all as the tutorials on the internet say, but no matter what i try the aircraft spawns on the runway on the opposite end of the airfield and then tries to taxi to its first waypoint on the other side. I tried the exact same thing in the stock game and in a different modpack, everything worked well there.

Taxi to takeoff is not fully implemented in Ultrapack yet - that's because I'm an FMB idiot and there's been so little information and samples available on this topic that eventually I decided to put it far, far away on the back burner.

After playing this past Sunday the blood has been revitalized to make some overly complicated missions that will hopefully result in KT being perma-banned.

Disclaimer: No Mods operating, stock UP 3.4 Patch 2 Cassie, Hotfix 19.

As I was doing my dig through the objects list one by one I noticed that the objects don't change when picked (chosen, blinking white house/arrow object).

For instance I placed a hangar down, with it selected (blinking white) when using the pageup/pagedown hot keys the object placed should change along with the object title and image.  However the object title and image change, but the actual object on the map does not.  This is important to me as a mission maker since it quickly lets me sift through the hundreds (thousands?) of objects while seeing how their size would interact with the environment, instead of clicking each and every object and placing it on the map one by one, which I have never had to do in the twenty-two years I've played this game.  I checked with BAT and that feature still works, so I am not completely insane.  Thanks for everything you do Mike!!!

Thanks for the report Geschirr.
Attached please find a preliminary fix.
Just extract the file and drop the contents into your ultrapack game folder, the folder structure (#UP#/UP 3.4 Patch 2 Hotfix) is already part of the zip.

NOTE: THIS IS A FIX FOR MISSION CREATORS ONLY!
NO NEED FOR ANYONE ELSE TO USE THIS!
TO KT: YOU DON'T NEED THIS
REPEAT: KT, YOU FRIKKIN' DON'T NEED THIS!

I accept bets when the first moron comes around and asks how to install this "patch" :D

Thanks Mike!!! I can see all the objects.

However... the hot keys don't work for Page Up/Page Down.  It changes the object in the viewing window, but not the selected object on the map.

They are in the confi.ini (Line 154/155, at least for me).
PageDown=change+
PageUp=change-

The rest of hot keys work like rotating an object with the numpad.

Ah I see.
Didn't even know of that feature.
If anyone reads here and has the same question marks in his face like I did, here's the explanation:
In FMB, you can open up the Object Menu, activate the object render by clicking on the "Show" button, and then - important! - click the object on the map (!!) and use page up / page down to change the object.
If you do it like that, the object in the Object Menu will change (including the render preview) but the visual presentation of the object on the map will not.
Interesting.
I will check this.

For the time being, just click the lower box in the Object Menu (the dropdown field holding the object name) so that it gets selected (i.e. light text on dark background) and use the arrow up/down keys to change the object.
This works and will change the render for both the preview in the menu and for the object on the map.

Thank Mike, I have never used the arrow keys to change objects, but it works!
It's weird that the page up/down changes the window object, but no the map object.
Once the arrow keys are used the page up/down no longer functions at all, which there is no need now that the up/down arrow is used.
It will take a little bit to get used to, but I'll adapt.  Thanks again Mike!!!

As promised yesterday, please find attached a preliminary fix for the object list change render issue.
This v2 of the preliminary fix will get page up/down keys back working.
Just extract the file and drop the contents into your ultrapack game folder, the folder structure (#UP#/UP 3.4 Patch 2 Hotfix) is already part of the zip.
Since the same files are included like in the previous version of the preliminary fix, please overwrite the old files if you have installed the previous version already.

NO NEED FOR ANYONE ELSE TO USE THIS!

Everything is back to normal.  Thank you, and thank you again for the airfield plates/paths/roads!
