Hi Ede,

Mk 13 Torp: Ist vor 1.1.1944 nicht verfügbar. Missions-Einstellungen prüfen! Das ist so gewollt.
Kurogan: "Blumax Map"? Welche "Blumax Map"? Sagt mir nichts.
Bf 109W-2: Wie gesagt, nicht nachvollziehbar. Keine Ahnung was Du da machst.

Hi Mike,

Not really a bug so much as a simple fix.

The F-72A Superbolt’s propeller rotation is reversed. It spins the propellers as if it were pushing air forward relative to the pitch of the blades.

I’ve noticed this before but wasn’t too bothered by it but I realize that if we are to really do something for UP then we may as well point out the small things as well as the big things.

Update: Blöden Flightmodel-Fehler entdeckt. Mit Hotfix 24 wird das erledigt sein.

Blumax Map anbei
Ah, wieder etwas gelernt! 8)
Ich habe den Kurogane jetzt auf der Blumax Map auf der Basis spawnen lassen.
Kein Fehler bei feststellbar.
Haste mal 'ne Testmission o.ä., die bei Dir den Fehler triggert?
Irgendwelche anderen Einstellungen?
Schwierigkeits-Einstellungen?

The F-72A Superbolt’s propeller rotation is reversed.
Thanks James, much appreciated. Will be fixed in HF 24.
I love reading of those tiny immersion killers. They're usually dead easy to fix.
No need to be precaucious when reporting errors.
Rest assured I'm not mad at anyone reporting issues, even if my "robust" responses might come across like it sometimes.
I'm just trying to give honest response, with no gongs and tinsel.

Incomplete reports get tagged as such.
Invalid ones anyway.
If I sense potential mod conflicts, I let you know.
If I can't reproduce an issue, I let you know.
If it's an underlying mod thing, out of UP's scope, I let you know.
Any valid report leading to a reproducible issue gets dealt with accordingly.
Besides that, any bug report is always welcome.
Ultrapack, quite like Stock IL-2, still has hundreds, if not thousands of glitches, bugs, issues, shortcomings.
It's important to name them once you stumble across one.

Just FYI, here's a preliminary list of fixes in HF 24 - it's all WIP still, not far from release though.

Code: [Select]

* Bf-109W-2 empty MW-50 tank fixed
* Vildebeest III prop rotation direction fixed
* Vildebeest Seaplane water hooks fixed
* Vildebeest Series CoG fixed
* Ki-49-II Icon Tag mismatch fixed (Ki-21 --> Ki-49)

* Various smaller Weapon Loadout Declaration glitches fixed (50 Aircraft in total)
* Fw 190D-13 Sea Wulf Wing Root Cannon Hooks fixed

* Fw 189 flaps attached to the wings correctly

Hallo

Kurogane issue has been identified and solved.
It's a flight model thing, one of the weirdest issues I've seen so far.
Happens in multiplayer missions only, and it's caused by critical AoA values being defined in a way the game cannot handle.
In this particular case, positive AoA limit was 20 degrees, while negative was zero.
The game however expects both values to be of more or less the same magnitude, otherwise it fails to calculate a valid spawn attitude.

I'm awaiting the X-4 "Durchfall"/X-7 "Reinfall" Fix.
Thanks for consideration.

Looks like its my turn to find a nasty bug  :o.

In the KI-83 1945, the cockpit compass is glitched where it is eternally spinning 360 degrees around. Am unsure if other variants of KI-83 have this bug, however I suspect they do. I am pretty busy this week however will look at some other Jap aircraft to see if the case is the same across them.

cheers,

sercrets.

Confirmed, well... in a way.
I can reproduce the issue on HF23, whereas on HF24 WIP it doesn't happen.
Fun fact: Nothing changed on the Ki-83 (/cockpit) between HF23 and HF24 ]dontknow[

Thanks for looking at that, cheers,
